Power woman
Music has always been a very big part of me and it definitely relates to every aspect and moment of my life. While I paint, draw or cut paper there is always something playing in the background. This piece reminds me of the title of a playlist I created.

Untitled
Cutting and gluing paper became a personal passion in Autumn 2022. What started out as an activity with friends and a glass of wine in hand soon developed into much more. From a therapy session to a creative escape, this art form has brought a lot of new things into my life. As the collages started filling up the walls of my room, I decided they should see the light of day. This one was my first, the one that started the craze.
Ladies
Started off as a joke and ended up as one of my favourite series. The ladies, as I like to call them, are inspired in ceramic statues and are meant to highlight the beauty and sexiness of the female figure, whatever it’s shape.

Zé Luís
This piece was my very first experience with pouring acrylic paint on canvas. It is named after the person who inspired me to invest in painting and creating and, as all of my paintings named after someone, the colours remind me very much of him. It is a messy piece but it’s still one of my favourites.

Scream / Joe Mook
Quite a few years back, a friend suggested to come by my apartment and spend the afternoon listening to good music and drawing. Though I didn’t feel inspired at all (or so I thought) this piece came to life and I absoutely fell in love with it.
At the time I was studying acoustics at university and I was fascinated with sound waves and frequencies, so I had the idea to add a visual scream to this weird character. However, the raining bananas can’t really be explained, I believe, but they make it all come together.
Later, when my brother and his band mates settled for Joe Mook as a band name the piece had to go through some changes. Since mook means mute in Urdu and the bananas made no sense for the purpose, both the frequencies and the raining fruits were removed. Et voilá, new piece and a new band mascot!
